On Wednesday, the price of one tola of 24-carat gold in Pakistan is being sold at Rs 200,900.
Karachi is the main market for gold in Pakistan, and the gold prices set by the Karachi Sarafa Bazar Association are followed by other cities such as Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta.
As of the closing of trading, the price of 10 grams of 24k gold is Rs 172,240, while 10 grams of 22k gold is being traded for Rs 157,886, and one tola of 22-karat gold is being sold at Rs 184,157.
As of 15 March 2023, the current gold price in Pakistan for 24k per tola, according to the Saraf Jewelers Association, is Rs 200,900. The gold rates are determined by the London Bullion Market, with occasional involvement from the International Monetary Fund.
