KARACHI: On Wednesday, the price per tola of 24 karat gold saw a decline of Rs 1,900, reaching Rs 232,600. This is in comparison to its previous rate of Rs 234,500 the day before.
For 10 grams of 24 karat gold, the price also dropped by Rs 1,629, now priced at Rs 199,417 instead of the previous Rs 201,046. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of 22 karat gold fell to Rs 182,799 from Rs 184,292, as reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
The values of silver remained unchanged, with the per tola price remaining at Rs 2,800 and 10 grams at Rs 2,400.54.
Internationally, the price of gold increased by $3, climbing to $1,904 from the previous $1,901, according to the Association’s report.
