Islamabad: After Saudi Arabia, the UAE also expressed its willingness to make portfolio investments in Pakistani companies.
Sources in the Ministry of Finance say that initially, the UAE will invest one billion dollars in various companies of Pakistan’s economic, financial and investment sector, and more investments will be made in the second phase.
According to the sources, this initiative will improve the country’s stock market and stabilize the exchange rate, along with this, economic activities in the country will accelerate and new employment opportunities will be created.
