LAHORE: The counter polio crusade in Punjab will continue on July 20 following a four-month break due to the coronavirus pandemic.

At first, polio immunization exercises will be completed in 44 association chambers of Faisalabad and 14 association boards of Attock.

To audit the courses of action for the counter polio drive, a gathering together led by Provincial Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid and Chief Secretary Jawwad Rafique Malik was held here on Friday.

The gathering was gone to by Health Secretary resigned Capt Muhammad Usman, Commissioner Asif Bilal Lodhi and officials concerned while divisional magistrates, appointee magistrates and CEOs of District Health Authority took part through video interface.
