Daily oil production rises in July as gas falls to a record.

ISLAMABAD: In the month of July, daily oil production increased while gas production decreased in the country.

According to PPIS and industry statistics, daily oil production in the country was recorded at 72,637 barrels and average daily gas production at 3,286 MFcfd, which is 3 percent higher and 4 percent lower, respectively, compared to June.

In the month of June, the average daily production of crude oil in the country was 70591 barrels, while the average daily production of gas was recorded at 3438 MMcfd. Average daily production of OGDC crude oil in July was recorded at 34226 bpd, as against 30383 bpd in June.
Average daily gas production in July was recorded at 790 mmcfd, which is 20% higher than June’s 657 mmcfd. And Mari Gas recorded an average crude oil production of 812 barrels.
