Today, the PTI will perform its first power show in Peshawar since Imran Khan’s departure.

PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is preparing to begin a liaison campaign in Peshawar today.

Today’s public assembly in Peshawar will take place after Namaz e Isha, and will be addressed by party chairman Imran Khan.

Apart from that, other party leaders will address the Jalsa.

A field has been set up on Peshawar Ring Road for the meeting, which will begin at 9 p.m.

A stage that is 80 feet wide by 20 feet high has been built for the meeting. DJ Butt, who is in charge of the sound system and lighting, is also in charge of installing a big screen on the stage.

It is worth noting that this will be Imran Khan’s first public appearance since announcing the overthrow of the government two days ago.

Yesterday, former Prime Minister Imran Khan urged Peshawar residents to attend today’s rally against the purported US-led regime change effort in Pakistan.

After his ouster through a no-confidence resolution, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) also resigned from the national assembly (NA) ahead of the election to replace Khan.

Imran Khan has said that he will try to get the country’s people ready for early elections after a lot of people responded to his protest call after he stepped down on Sunday.

The first demonstration in the series will take place in Peshawar today, followed by Karachi on Sunday and Lahore on April 23.

In a video message, Imran Khan claimed in a video message that a government supported by foreign forces has been installed in the nation, which he will discuss.

In his speech to the people of Peshawar, he stated that a country’s freedom and democracy cannot be preserved by the army of any foreign force.

“I’m coming to you [Peshawar], and along with you, we’re going to wage a campaign for early elections in Pakistan,” he said.
