If you saw Mohammad Rizwan bowling for Sussex CCC in the County Championship 2022, you might have seen him get a lot of attention on social media.
Rizwan, who plays for Sussex alongside India’s seasoned Test batter Cheteshwar Pujara, bowls seldom. He did, however, bowl several medium-pacer deliveries during Sussex’s 0-0 tie with Durham.
In a video shared on Sussex’s official Twitter account, Rizwan can be seen running with a very short run-up and delivering wicket to wicket deliveries as a right-arm medium pace bowler.

“Statement over M. Rizwan’s first County Championship,” stated the tweet.
It’s worth mentioning that Rizwan reached his first County Championship half-century with 79 runs, while Pujara reached his second double-hundred with 203 runs and 24 boundaries.
