Waqar Younis is overjoyed at the prospect of Australia’s upcoming visit to Pakistan.

Waqar Younis, a former Pakistani bowler, has expressed satisfaction with Australia’s visit to Pakistan.

Australia will travel Pakistan for the first time in 24 years, playing three Tests, three One-Day Internationals, and one Twenty20 International.

Waqar took to Twitter to upload a video in which he expressed his excitement about the matches that would be played after such a long time.

“This is an exciting moment for you, gentlemen,” the former Pakistan captain said.

“Australia is sending a cricket team to Pakistan for the first time in a very long time. I’d want to use this occasion to express my gratitude to Cricket Australia, Pat Cummins, David Warner, and their whole team for their upcoming tour to Pakistan.”

He also asked fans to give the Australians a warm welcome when they came to the stadium.

“Let’s go greet them and have a fantastic series.” It’s going to be an exciting and challenging series. “That is something we all look forward to,” he continued.

The PCB and CA have announced their test teams.

Australia will visit Pakistan for the first time in 24 years, for three Tests, three One-Day Internationals, and one Twenty20 International.

Australia’s tour to Pakistan has been changed. Cricket Australia (CA) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) made the changes on Friday.

  • Feb 27 – Arrival in Islamabad
  • Mar 4-8 – 1st Test, Rawalpindi
  • Mar 12-16 – 2nd Test, Karachi
  • Mar 21-25 – 3rd Test, Lahore
  • Mar 29 – 1st ODI, Rawalpindi
  • Mar 31 – 2nd ODI, Rawalpindi
  • April 2 – 3rd ODI, Rawalpindi
  • Apr 5 – one-off T20I, Rawalpindi
  • Apr 6 – Departure
