Volkswagen sees a slight recovery in Q3 sales

Berlin: Volkswagen (ETR:VOWG) said on Friday that it delivered just over 6 million cars so far this year, which is down 12.9% from the same time last year. However, deliveries were up just over 10% in the third quarter because problems with the supply chain were fixed.

This year, deliveries were down in every major region. Europe, the Middle East, and Africa were the hardest hit.

China had the smallest drop, at 7.5%, and deliveries in September were 33% higher than in the same month last year, showing a strong recovery.

From January to September, 366,400 all-electric cars were sold, which is 25% more than the same time last year.
