Today, on 22nd March 2023, the price of a single tola (24-Carat) gold in Pakistan’s open market is Rs 202400.
Karachi, being the main hub of the gold market, sets the gold price trend followed by other cities, including Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta. The gold rates in these cities are the same as Karachi’s Sarafa Bazar Association’s gold rate.
As per the Saraf Jewelers Association, the current gold rate in Pakistan for 24k per tola is Rs 202400. The closing price of 10 grams of 24k gold is Rs 173530, while 10 grams of 22k gold is being traded for Rs 159068, and a single tola of 22-karat gold is being sold at Rs 185532.
Gold rates are based on London Bullion Market standards and are sometimes set by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
