The US wants Pakistan to be stable and have a strong economy. Price Ned
WASHINGTON – Ned Price, a spokesman for the US State Department, has said that the US wants Pakistan to be stable and have a strong economy.
Ned Price told reporters that the US would keep working with its partner. “I want Pakistan to have a strong economy. Antony Blinken and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari talked about the economy.”
The US spokesman wouldn’t say anything about the possibility of the US ambassador to Pakistan meeting with Imran Khan. He said that such meetings were common.
Ned Price had said earlier that Pakistan is an important stakeholder and that the US is excited to keep doing work that could help bring peace and prosperity to Pakistan and the rest of the region. “The relationship between the US and Pakistan has been important for almost 75 years. We’re excited to keep working with Pakistan’s new government on regional and international issues. This work could help bring peace and prosperity to Pakistan and other countries in the region.
