The price level goes up by 1.42% each week.

ISLAMABAD: Dunya News reported on Friday that the country’s weekly inflation rate went up even more, to 1.42 percent.

Statistics show that in one week, the live chicken went up to Rs. 28.26 per kg, lentils went up to Rs. 14.88, gram lentils went up to Rs. 6.54, mash lentils went up to Rs. 5.18 per kg, and a 20 kg bag of flour went up from Rs. 54.62 to Rs. 1425.

The report also said that the prices of eggs, mutton, beef, curd, milk, sugar, ghee, tea, and garlic all went up by Rs. 6.28 per dozen, Rs. 6.67 per kg, and Rs. 5.84 per kg, respectively.

On the other hand, the prices of only four things went down in a week, while the prices of 14 important things stayed the same.
