The federal government has increased retribution on gasoline and diesel by Rs 4 per liter

Despite falling in crude oil prices on the global market, the federal government decided to maintain the price of petroleum products from December 1, but at the same time increasing retribution on gasoline and diesel of Rs 4 per liter.

According to the Ministry of Finance’s statement, from December 1, the current gasoline price will remain at Rs 145.82 and Diesel at Rs 142.62, the current kerosene prices at Rs 116.53 and light diesel at Rs 114.07 per liter.

According to sources, the government has adjusted the impact of the decline in crude oil prices and petroleum products in the global market by increasing levy petroleum and GST.

According to sources, the government increases gasoline and diesel retribution of 4 per liter, after the gasoline retribution becomes Rs 13.62 and oil levies in diesel to rs 13.14 per liter.

According to sources, the government has increased GST on gasoline from zero to 1.63% and GST on diesel from 7.2% to 7.37%.
