In the end, the National Security Committee (NSC) decided on Friday that the telegram from Pakistan’s embassy in Washington was not the result of a foreign conspiracy. The NSC looked at the contents, assessments, and conclusions of all of the security agencies.
The 38th meeting of the National Security Council of the Cabinet, which was led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, talked about the telegram that came from the Pakistani embassy in the United States.
Asad Majeed Khan, Pakistan’s former ambassador to the United States, briefed the Committee on the context and content of his telegram.
According to a press release from the Prime Minister’s Office, “After reviewing the communication’s contents, the NSC reaffirmed the previous NSC meeting’s decisions.”
No evidence of a conspiracy has been found, again, by the best security agencies, the NSC was told by them.
Therefore, “the NSC concludes that there has been no foreign conspiracy after reviewing the contents of the communication, the assessments received, and the conclusions presented by the security agencies,” it added.

On March 27, former Prime Minister Imran Khan told a public gathering, while waving a letter, that a US government official threatened Pakistan with repercussions if the no-confidence motion against him failed. However, if Imran Khan is deposed, the US will forgive all of Pakistan’s transgressions.
The former prime minister said that based on the communication, the US had planned a coup in Pakistan.
