The ECB will keep raising rates in the coming months, Dutch Governor Knot says.

(Reuters) – The head of the Dutch Central Bank, Klaas Knot, said that with five policy meetings between now and July 2023, the ECB would be able to “tighten” at a “pretty good pace” before borrowing costs reached their peak in the summer. This was reported by the Financial Times on Monday.

“The bigger risk is still that we won’t do enough,” Knot told the newspaper in an interview. “The second half is just getting started.”
