SINGER FIDA HUSSAIN DIES
He had inhaled his keep going on Friday in the wake of remaining hospitalized at Jinnah Hospital for around fourteen days. He was experiencing various medical problems. Burial service petitions for the expired were held at Al-Rehman Gardens, Phase-II. The 68-year-old vocalist was prepared by celebrated ghazal artist Ustad Ghulam Ali who showed him music for 12 to 14 years.
Fida Hussain had begun his vocation from Radio Pakistan, Lahore and sang numerous melodies and ghazals for radio and TV in a profession traversing over around 50 years. His acclaimed tunes included ‘Yar Mangya Si Rabba Tethoon Ro Kay’ (remixed for Indian film Kaante) and ‘Saday Wal Mukhra Mor’.
