PTI activists try to break into the headquarters of the MQM-H, but they can’t get in.

KARACHI: They tried to break into the MQM-H headquarters, Baitul Hamza, in Karachi’s Landhi area on Tuesday night, but they were too insubordinate and unruly.

On bikes, a large group of PTI activists came to Baitul Hamza. They were angry that PTI leader Imran Khan was ousted as prime minister because of the opposition’s no-confidence motion. In the MQM-H headquarters, they wrote the name of their leader, Imran Khan, on the wall. They also sang pro-Khan songs and chanted for their leader.

It doesn’t matter that the MQM-H workers stopped them from getting into the building. The incident has caused a lot of tension between the two political parties in the area.

Arif Azam, the general secretary of the MQM-H, said that attacks on their central secretariat were not OK. He said that PTI officials Shahid and Nadeem were in charge of the attack, and that they led it. His party had never been part of a government or worked with the opposition. He said he didn’t understand why someone would go on a rampage.

In his story, he said that 60 to 70 people first drew graffiti on the building, then broke it down.

They were angry, but we cooled them down. Afaq Ahmed, the leader of the MQM-H, had his picture torn up as well in Landhi No. 5 and the Chiragh Hotel. We have asked the authorities to take legal action against the people who attacked us. In other words, “We’ve left everything up to the police,” he said.
