ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s first e-commerce website, E-Tijarat, was launched by Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday, Asian Trade News reports. The goal is to boost trade and help the government bring more transparency to the information technology industry.

Today, Prime Minister Imran Khan launched Pakistan’s first e-commerce online platform, E-Tijarat Portal. He also spoke at the E-Commerce Pakistan Convention, where he announced the country’s first tax-free programme for freelancers who have been registered with the tax office.

Do not be alarmed [ghabrana nahi hai]. Everyone has been aware of the country’s crisis since our administration took control, since we are on the verge of bankruptcy. “

I’ve pleaded with my cabinet not to worry, and now I’m pleading with the opposition not to panic.

PM Imran Khan said that several individuals linked to the information technology (IT) industry have become billionaires, and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has prioritised the IT sector and the young. The world has become more digital because of the progress in information technology.

Pakistan is capable of achieving the aim of Rs 50 billion in IT exports. Certain industries have already accomplished this, with IT exports increasing to Rs 3.75 billion. We must eliminate impediments to our youth’s development and provide them with facilities. We shall fully use the technological revolution. “

People like Bill Gates are really fortunate. Bill Gates chose to use their money for the common good, and he assisted Pakistan in eradicating the poliovirus. I’m curious as to what other interests Bill Gates could have in Pakistan. For one year, Pakistan has not recorded a single incidence of poliovirus. “

“We invited Bill Gates to Pakistan and solicited his aid in developing Pakistan’s information technology industry. He had told us that he would shortly bring us good news. Whenever this country has been given a chance, it has shown itself.

The premier said that the government is also enhancing Pakistan’s cricket infrastructure.

The premier said that the PTI administration is working to establish a standard educational system in order to eradicate prejudice between the affluent and poor in the country. Khan says that the government is preparing the young so that they can go to the next level.

He assured us that the PTI administration would do all possible to aid the young.
