PM IMRAN KHAN INVITES INDIA’S NARENDRA MODI TO A LIVE DEBATE

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan, who will visit Russia on February 23, highlighted Tuesday the need to resolve the Russia-Ukraine situation via discussion,

Speaking to Russian media before his planned visit, the prime minister said that he views resolving issues via war as a stupid move and that any confrontation between the two nations would be detrimental to developing countries.

“This has already had an effect on fuel prices, which have increased significantly,” he said, adding that Ukraine provides wheat to worldwide markets and the rising conflict would have an effect on global markets.

Additionally, the prime minister asked for an easing of Iran’s sanctions.

In addressing India’s ties, the prime minister said that his nation officially invited India for discussions shortly after becoming office. “I want to have a live conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi about how hostile India has become,” he said.

PM Imran Khan said that India’s current administration, headed by Narendra Modi, is carrying out the RSS-driven Hindutva agenda. “India should understand that growing animosity will lead to more violence in the region,” he said.
