Pakistan’s ambassador talks with military and State Department officials in the United States.

WASHINGTON – Pakistan Ambassador to the United States Masood Khan met with members of the US military and State Department officials on Friday.
The ambassador said in a tweet that the meeting took place at the National War College and that the Pakistani envoy gave a briefing on Pakistan-US ties.
The summit reviewed bilateral military ties and the regional situation.
On the microblogging website, Ambassador Khan tweeted, “Delighted to connect with a group of National War College officers from the US Armed Forces and State Department.”
“I briefed them on Pakistan-US ties, particularly military cooperation and regional developments,” he said.
Dr Masood was just appointed ambassador after Dr. Asad Majeed’s departure from the US in March 2022.
The new Pakistani ambassador to the United States is Dr. Asad Majeed Khan, who took over after Ali Jahangir Siddiqui stepped down.
