Shaheen Shah Afridi, the Qalandars captain, has once again captured the attention of countless cricket fans. Shaheen flipped the script for Peshawar Zalmi on Monday, bringing the last game of the league stage of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) to a dramatic super over.

Following the contest’s completion, former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Afridi, who is also Shaheen’s upcoming father-in-law, came on Twitter and published a collage of Shaheen and himself.

While one photograph was taken during Shaheen’s blitzes against Peshawar Zalmi, the other was taken during Shahid’s Pakistan playing days.

“SHAHEEN AFRIDIIII, you are so precious!” Shahid provided the caption for the image.

Last night, the Qalandars seemed to be out of the running, but Shaheen stepped in and delivered one of the most stunning cameos, presenting a display akin to that of his soon-to-be father-in-law, Shahid Afridi.

Shaheen completed a fantastic over with an undefeated 39 off 20 deliveries.
