Pak vs Aus : Hasan, Haris, and Faheem return to the Test lineup.

The Pakistan Cricket Board said Saturday that Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, and Faheem Ashraf of Pakistan have rejoined the Test team after they were able to recover and finish the time they were supposed to stay away from the team.

The PCB said that pacer Haris Rauf has rejoined the squad after a COVID-19 test came back negative.

Rauf was found to have the virus after a Rapid Antigen Test on Tuesday. He was replaced in the team for the first game of the series in Rawalpindi by Naseem Shah, who had been a traveling reserve.

Faheem Ashraf and Hasan Ali, two of the team’s all-rounders, have also been added back in after recovering from injuries.

They had injuries during the Pakistan Super League and were forced to miss a few games.

Hasan Ali sustained a groyne injury, while Faheem Ashraf sustained an ankle injury during last month’s first eliminator versus Peshawar Zalmi at the Gaddafi Stadium. Following that, Iftikhar Ahmed and Mohammad Wasim Jnr were summoned to take their positions.

Babar Azam is the captain of the Pakistan team. Mohammad Rizwan is the vice-captain. Azhar Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Imam-ul-Haq, Nauman Ali, Sajid Khan, Saud Shakeel, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shan Masood, and Zahid Mahmood are the other players.

Pat Cummins (captain), Ashton Agar, Scott Boland, Alex Carey, Cameron Green, Marcus Harris, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Marsh, Michael Neser, Steve Smith (vc), Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Swepson, and David Warner are the Australian squad.
