NJAEEM B UKHARI RESTRAINED FROM WORKING IN PTV

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday controlled Naeem Bokhari from functioning as executive of Pakistan Television (PTV) while hearing indistinguishable petitions against his arrangement.

Directing the case, IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah saw that there should have been an unmistakable explanation behind loosening up the upper age limit for 65-year-old Bokhari, referring to the Supreme Court choice to put aside the arrangement of Ataul Haq Qasmi as the PTV executive.

The court noticed that the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting had rehashed similar missteps as those for Qasmi’s situation and had not scrutinized the zenith court’s judgment when sending the outline to the government bureau.

At the last hearing, the IHC CJ had seen that Bokhari’s arrangement seemed to have been made infringing upon the rules set by the SC, and had prompted the guidance for the PTV administrator to examine the choice that had put aside the arrangement of Qasmi.
