Apart from changing the font, users can also change the text alignment to the left, center, or right, giving them greater control over formatting text within images, videos, and GIFs. The new update also allows users to change the text background color, making it easier for them to differentiate important text from the rest.
To add more variety, some new fonts have been released to beta testers, including Calistoga, Courier Prime, Damion, Exo 2, and Morning Breeze. The new text editor is only available to some beta testers who have installed the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android. Additionally, it is also available to some businesses on WhatsApp Business.
