In this case, the Prime Minister wants a third-party audit of the project.

ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif told the government on Saturday to finish the Rawal Chowk flyover as soon as possible without sacrificing the quality of the work.

The prime minister and the people who work for him went to the construction site early in the morning and were given a briefing.

He said that this project should be done by September 1 of this year. There had been a lot of problems with the project for a long time, so the prime minister told someone to look into it and set up a meeting. He also asked for a third party to look over the project.

The prime minister said that public-interest projects should be finished in the time frame they were set for.

He said public anger is growing because the project is taking so long to build.

The prime minister was not happy with the slow pace of work, and he said that lethargy and complacency were likely to blame.

He said that even big projects in the country are done in two years. He didn’t understand why this small project was taking so long.

Shehbaz Sharif said that it was the central chowk and that the project had been shut down, which was making people angry.

There were also questions about the award of contracts, the company’s name, landscaping and service lines, and so on.

The project started in 2020 and took two years to finish.
