Moin Akhtar was born on December 24, 1950 in Karachi, and his fans are celebrating his 71st birthday today.
Moin Akhtar was a promising and inspiring personality, there is hardly a chapter in art that he has not numbered.
He was a talented actor of Pakistan Television, the uncrowned king of film and stage, comedian, host, writer, singer, director and producer.
This great artist started his career in the 60’s and never looked back. However, the work done with Anoom Maqsood and Bushra Ansari took him to the heights of fame.
Surprisingly, Moin Akhtar was fluent in many languages, including Urdu, English, Pashto, Sindhi, Gujarati, Punjabi and Bengali.
Moin Akhtar Kofan has been awarded several national and international awards, including the Presidential Medal for Excellence in Service.
This great chapter of art was closed forever on 22nd April 2011 but Moin Akhtar is still alive in the hearts of all through his art.
