Maersk will buy the Danish logistics company Martin Bencher Group.
Copenhagen (Reuters) – A.P. Moller-Maersk, a shipping company, said on Friday that it had agreed to buy the Danish logistics company Martin Bencher Group for $61 million.
Maersk’s Regional Managing Director in Europe, said, “Martin Bencher will be a great fit for Maersk and our integrator strategy. He will strengthen our ability to provide project logistics services to our clients around the world.”
Martin Bencher has its headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark. It has 170 employees and works in 23 countries. Its specialty is moving oversized cargo.
Maersk said that the deal will happen if the government gives its approval.
