K-Power Electric’s rates were cut by Rs4.87 per unit by the government.

Consumers will save more than Rs7 billion because of the decision.

ISLAMABAD Thursday, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) said that the fuel cost adjustment (FCA) for electricity used in August by K-Electric customers would be cut by Rs4.87 per unit.

According to the details, KE’s FCA would drop by Rs4.87 per unit in August, even though KE had asked for a reduction of Rs4.21.

Consumers will save more than Rs7 billion because of the decision.
