Jason Roy withdraws from the IPL 2022 competition, citing bio bubble fatigue.

Jason Roy, the swashbuckling batsman, has opted to withdraw from the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2022 because of bio bubble fatigue. Roy has also notified his franchise, the Gujarat Titans, of his decision.
The Gujarat Titans acquired the right-handed batter for INR 2 crores. Roy has previously withdrawn from the IPL. The Delhi Capitals purchased the batter for INR 1.5 crores in the 13th season of the IPL, but he chose not to play.
The IPL will expand to ten teams in 2022, with the addition of two new franchises, Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans.

Jason Roy last appeared in the Pakistan Super League in 2022. (PSL). The 31-year-old was in superb form throughout the competition, scoring 303 runs in only six innings at a 50.50 average. Roy also finished the competition with a hundred and two fifties.
Roy has played 13 matches in the Indian Premier League and scored 329 runs at an average of 29.91 and a strike rate of 129.02. Additionally, the right-handed hitter has two half-centuries in his IPL career.
The IPL 2022 season is scheduled to begin on March 26, 2022. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will square off against two-time IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders in the tournament’s first encounter (KKR). The competition is scheduled to end on May 29, 2022.
The IPL will return to Maharashtra in 2022, with matches being held in Mumbai and Pune. There was a championship match in Dubai for the Indian Premier League in 2021. The Chennai Super Kings won it by beating the Kolkata Knight Riders by 27 runs.
