IPL vs PSL: former England captain Michael Vaughan makes a comparison

Michael Vaughan, the former captain of the England cricket team, is awestruck about the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and has called it one of the top T-20 leagues around the globe.

Former English player has praised the level of cricket during the seventh edition of the PSL through Twitter.

He also said that he compared the Pakistan cricketing competition with cricket’s Indian Premier League (IPL) in saying the “it’s not far off the IPL either.”

“Pakistan Super League has been ranked as the 2nd most successful T20 tournament of all time in the World. It’s not that far off the IPL or even the top quality for cricket.” Michael Vaughan tweeted.

 An international total of 48 players from all over the globe have signed up to PSL 7 out of which 24 are from England.

The English Cricket Board (ECB) continues to be criticized for announcing the cancellation of the tour of Pakistan in October 2021, citing security concerns since over twenty-six English players have signed up for PSL 2022 within three months.
