In an interview with Ahsan Khan, Sarwat Gillani and Meher Bano provide details about their web series.
Sarwat Gillani, who looks to have found a new home on OTT, is gearing up for another vengeful adventure with Qatil Haseenaon Ke Naam (QHKN). The actor has a lot to say about the medium that has allowed her to hone her acting skills by allowing her to play a range of characters.
Similarly, Meher Bano, a very young diva on a quest in the field of acting to develop her own movie. Even if it means landing major parts on a famous platform, she isn’t ready to play stereotyped, everyday people anytime soon. QHKN, a Zee Prime original film directed by British-Indian director Meenu Gaur, will include both musicians. In a recent interview with Ahsan Khan, the duo discussed web programmes extensively.
“I believe that the web is a medium in which you don’t have a lot of time to make a lot of drama.” And I’m thrilled that you [Ahsan] picked up the pace so soon,” Gillani added of the host. As he will appear as a villain in a later episode. “I just think a lot of actors don’t get the critical acclaim they deserve because of the roles they’re given.” They also shine brightly on OTT.
When questioned if internet streaming services can ever attain the same level of popularity as television, the actress seemed upbeat. “They will because everyone likes to see new things, especially those who work on our television.” We anticipated that people would be offended and perplexed when we invented Churails. The response we received, on the other hand, convinced us that the audience is ready and willing to watch. And, regardless of the foreign media on which they are transmitted, these shows are also created by Pakistanis.”
They went on to say that our artists’ creativity, acting, writing, and camera work “meets global standards,” and that the locations, aesthetics, and other features “look lovely.”
