She turned to Instagram to condemn bigots for criticising the Raees star for his gesture while paying his respects as he offered dua and then blew into the air, a common tradition among Muslims.

I’m not sure why prejudice blinds people so profoundly. After reading something during Lata Ji’s funeral rites, Shah Rukh Khan blew the dua, which the prejudiced people there referred to as “spitting,” and the video went viral. However, any rational individual will notice that Shah Rukh blew rather than spat.

After passing away on Sunday morning, Lata Mangeshkar’s funerary prayers were conducted in Shivaji Park, where she was subsequently cremated. People from several fraternities came to the park to offer their respects.

From Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, everyone came to pay their respects to the late musician.

During the sad farewell, SRK’s saying a dua at the cremation yard won hearts on social media while also sparking controversy.

While many people praised his act of reciting a dua, he was widely criticised on social media.

Arun Yadav, a Haryana BJP politician, drew outrage after tweeting, “Did he spit?”

However, a brief video clip that quickly went viral showed Mr. Khan pronouncing the dua, removing his mask, and blowing air.
