The first ‘live robot’ in the world that can breed!
Harvard: This is not a plant, it’s not an animal, this is a live robot that can now reproduce. This is called Zenobot.

The stem cells of the African Claw Frog (Xenopus Levis) have been used as raw materials. Xenobot is slightly less than one millimeter wide. Although it was built in 2020 which could move, it could work with robots like himself, but now has a fully unique feature.

Vermont, Tufts and Harvard University together stated that they had made further changes to Xenobot. The biggest change is now able to reproduce, but the style is very different from other plants or animals.
Michael Levin from Tufts University is a key member of this job, which says that we have seen a new way of extraordinary biological reproduction.

According to scientists, if some cells are separated from the rest of the embryo and placed in a suitable environment, not only they move in a new way but they can also reproduce in new ways.

In it, the father of the letter C, Zeno boot, collects stem cells scattered here and there, accumulates them and they continue to become children. We know that stem cells can change into various types of cells. To make xenobot, experts separate them from frog eggs and incubated, but do not contain any specific genes.

Another expert, Josh Bogard, said that people consider metal and electronic combinations to be robots, but this is not a problem. We can even call our biological robots organisms made of frog cells.

Xenobot is like a ball made of 3000 cells. It can replicate itself, but only in a very special case. But it makes kinetic replicas and this process has never been seen before in biology.

But here artificial intelligence (AI) is used to create billions of anatomy structures and choose the best of them. The best of them are C-shaped robots in the form of Packman video games.

On the Petri plate, C-shaped Xenobot puts a lot of small stem cells in his mouth, and a few days later Nanobot just appeared.

Even though this is a very early stage, it is an important development for live robots.
