Google has introduced an earthquake notification system in Pakistan.

Google has introduced the Android Earth Quick Alert System for Earthquakes in Pakistan. This alert system is invaluable and a helpful feature of the Android platform that detects earthquakes and alerts people around the world.

The system uses accelerometers in active Android smartphones to detect earthquake activity and alerts people about earthquakes in two ways, one through search and the other directly through the device. This system provides Google with near-instant information.

When people search for “earthquake” or “earthquake near me,” they get relevant results, as well as information about helpful resources about what to do after an earthquake. Users who do not want to receive these alerts can turn them off by going to the device’s settings.

In the past, Pakistan has experienced several earthquakes, especially in the northern and western parts. By extending this earthquake system, Android users in Pakistan can automatically receive early warning alerts that help them prepare for emergencies.

On mobile devices, the Android Earth Quick Alerts system displays two types of alerts depending on the magnitude of the earthquake. Be Aware Alerts alert people when an earthquake of magnitude 4.5, 3, or 4 on the Modified Merkley Intensity Scale (MMI) occurs. This information is sent along with the distance information from the epicentre of the earthquake.

The alert uses the phone’s current volume, vibration, and do not disturb settings. Action Take is an alert that appears on the full screen in the event of an earthquake of magnitude 4.5 or greater or magnitude 5 and above.
