DR IMRAN FAROOQ CASE , LTAF HUSSAIN ORDER

An Islamabad against fear based oppression court (ATC) on Thursday decided that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) organizer Altaf Hussain requested the killing of the gathering’s senior chief Dr Imran Farooq, who was wounded to death outside his home in London in September 2010.

As indicated by Judge Shahrukh Arjumand, during the preliminary of three captured denounced it was “demonstrated that Altaf Hussain requested the executing of Dr Imran Farooq”.

The court gave life detainment and forced a fine of Rs2 million on three men — Shamim Khalid, Syed Mohsin Ali and Moazzam Ali — and guided them to pay Rs1m each to the expired specialist’s family.

In its judgment, a duplicate of which is accessible with Dawn.com, the court said that “it is normal from administrations of Pakistan and UK that absconders [MQM author Altaf Hussain, Iftikhar Hussain, Mohammad Anwar and Kashif Kamran] will be followed, captured and brought under the steady gaze of court at the earliest opportunity.”
