The currency of the country depreciated by the sum of 61 the paisa.

KARACHI – The US dollar is continuing to increase its value in comparison to the Pakistani rupee, on Thursday, following the rupee’s appreciation has increased.According to the data the local currency appreciated by 61 paisa against greenback, and was traded between Rs218.5. The rupee was trading in the range of Rs217.8848 the previous day, as per the central bank’s figures for Pakistan.

But, despite the decrease the rupee has rebounded in the range of Rs21.44 from its record-high of Rs239.94.
