CHINESE SOLDIERS DETAINED IN LADAKH

The Indian military on Monday said it had given back a Chinese warrior held almost a distant Himalayan boundary where a huge number of troops from the two atomic furnished neighbors have been going head to head for quite a long time after a lethal conflict.

“The PLA trooper who had been captured on Jan 8, 2021, has been given back to China at Chushul-Moldo at 10:10am today,” the Indian Army said in an assertion, alluding to the People’s Liberation Army of China.

China had approached Saturday for the quick return of an officer who had disappeared a day sooner along the line, adding it had announced the episode to Indian specialists.

The trooper had been captured by Indian soldiers south of Pangong Tso lake in the western Himalayan locale of Ladakh, which borders Chinese-controlled Tibet, an Indian authority said
