China said on Wednesday that the United States should stop its unmerited assaults and allegations against China, blaming US Secretary for State Mike Pompeo of noxiously making political showdown and spreading Beijing.
Pompeo on Tuesday visited Japan and called for more profound participation with Australia, India and Japan to counter China’s developing provincial impact.
“Pompeo has over and over manufactured lies about China and noxiously made political encounter,” the Chinese consulate in Japan said in an announcement.
“We indeed ask the US to surrender its Cold War attitude and philosophical bias, stop unwarranted allegations and assaults against China and treat relations with China in a productive way,” the consulate said.
