EU industry chief Thierry Breton told Twitter owner Elon Musk on Tuesday that he needs to take more steps in the coming months to make sure he is following all of the EU’s rules about online content.
Breton said after a video conference with Musk, “I welcome the effort that Twitter is making to be in line with Europe’s aims, while acknowledging that the next few months will be key.”
“We need to see greater development in the direction of total DSA compliance.” The work done on Twitter and by all other online platforms will be constantly monitored by my team, as the “readout of the call” indicates.
