The APTMA is pleading with the government to rescue the sector.

According to the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association, the government must take prompt action to preserve the textile sector from massive production and export losses.

Chairman Aptma of Asif Inam has requested that the government safeguard the textile sector from huge production and export losses, despite the government’s goal of gas supply taking precedence over other businesses.

He stated that the textile sector was suffering from a one-day gas supply outage, which resulted in production losses and delays in export deliveries.

Due to low daily output, low gas supply, and shutdown, export agreements are being postponed.

Asif Inam has encouraged the government and gas firms to first give gas to export industries, such as textiles, so that they may run their factories without interruption and meet their export commitments on time, before moving on to other industries. ۔
