Amer Hashmi and Masroor Qureshi, who work for the STZA, are on the NAB Lahore’s radar.

 on Monday that a complaint was sent to the National Accountability Bureau in Lahore about the Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA) officials, Chairman Amer Hashmi and COO Masroor Ahmed Qureshi, for allegedly abusing their power.

The complaint also named Talha Rao, Abdul Raheem Ahmed, Hamza Saeed, Muhammad Ali, and Iqra Mushtaq for giving jobs to people they liked without taking their skills into account, signing MoUs against the rules, and giving unfair advantages to the Organization Islamabad chapter, KASB, Galaxy Racer, and Shorouq partners.

The person who filed the complaint also said that Z Park Belt and Sino Pak got illegal help from STZA officials. Eye Engineering, Repidev, and DMCC Entrepreneur were among the private companies that got help. He also said that NAB is in charge of a huge number of financial problems.

It said that the people in charge of STZA didn’t bring any projects for IT professionals. The person who filed the complaint asked the NAB to look into how much public tax money was spent on salaries and perks for STZA officials, how many requests were sent to the authority and how many licenses were given, what the terms and procedures of the agreements were, and what the goals of the MoUs were.

The person who filed the complaint asked NAB Lahore to look into the wealth of STZA officials.
