Amazon.com, Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AMZN) content unit has made a deal with Games Workshop Group Plc, a British company that makes the popular miniature wargame Warhammer 40,000, to bring it to movie and TV screens.
The UK company said on Friday that Amazon will make movies and TV shows based on its intellectual property. It will also give the U.S. company the rights to sell merchandise based on the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
