All sales of Huawei and ZTE equipment in the United States are expected to be prohibited by the U.S. FCC, according to Axios.

According to people familiar with the situation, the U.S. Federal Communications Commission intends to prohibit all sales of Huawei and ZTE (HK:0763) telecommunications equipment in the country because of national security concerns.

President Joe Biden of the United States approved legislation this year that forbids businesses that pose a security risk from obtaining new equipment licences from American regulators.
