Alex Hales’ successor has been named by Islamabad United.
Nasir Nawaz has been named as a short-term replacement for Alex Hales, who has to leave the rest of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) games because of bubble fatigue.
The 23-year-old substitute will start today’s match against Peshawar Zalmi.
According to the franchise, he will fill in for Hales for the next two matches.
Additionally, United captain Shabad Khan, Colin Munro, and Zeeshan Zameer have been ruled out through injury. In Shadab’s absence, Asif Ali will lead the team, and Zahid Mehmood will be the team’s back-up.
United presently sit third in the points standings, two points behind Lahore Qalandars. The club has won four of its seven matches so far and earned eight points.
