After successful negotiations, petroleum dealers withdraw their strike call.

The negotiations between the Ministry of Petroleum and the Petroleum Dealers Association have been successful.

The call for a strike by petroleum dealers has been withdrawn.The meeting was held at the head office of PSO under the chairmanship of Minister of State for Energy, Petroleum Division, Mossadegh Malik. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Federal Secretary for Petroleum Zafar Ali Bhatta also attended the meeting.

The National Petroleum Dealers Association has stated that the supply of petroleum products across the country will continue as usual.According to the dealers, this decision was taken in the interest of the people. The top management of PSO, Chairman OGRA, Chairman OCAC and representatives of other oil marketing companies were also present in the meeting.

According to Samir Najamul Hasan, an increase in dealers’ margin on petroleum products has been assured of up to 3 and a half rupees per liter, of which 50% will be done on July 31 and another 50% on August 15.
