According to the federal finance minister, the government intends to chronicle the economy.

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Finance Shaukat Tareen has stated that the government is committed to documenting the economy and will not relent in its efforts.

While briefing prominent journalists and anchor people, Shaukat Tareen stated that the government intends to make every institution independent and, under this plan, the autonomy of SBP is also being ensured. Impressions are gathered in a fluid, global, and dispersed manner.

At the event, Fawad Chaudhry, Minister of State for Information Farrukh Habib, Federal Minister for Energy Hamad Azhar, Special Assistant Dr Faisal Sultan, and Governor SBP Dr Raza Baqir were also present.

According to the Finance Minister, the major goals of the supplementary budget law are to document the economy and eradicate tax exemptions.

The interest rate is set by the Monetary and Monetary Policy Committee, according to Governor SBP Dr. Raza Baqir.

On the other hand, Federal Minister for Energy Hamad Azhar, stated that the federal government has determined in principle to implement a system of regulating average prices by including imported gas in local gas, and that a bill to fix average gas prices should be brought to Parliament for approval. Setting the average price of gas, on the other hand, will not pass on the increase in gas costs to the people; the existing slabs of gas prices will remain the same, but the burden will be gradually moved to the people under the average price of gas system.

He claimed that 70 per cent of the gas now delivered is local gas and 30 per cent is imported gas. Pakistan’s propaganda that the country would be shut down in October and November owing to a lack of energy has proven to be false.

The Health Card is delivering a subtle revolution in the realm of health in Pakistan, according to Special Assistant for Health Dr. Faisal Sultan.
