Internet cable service from Pakistan to Africa suspended
Karachi: Internet speed is likely to be affected after the suspension of internet cable service from Pakistan to Africa.
According to telecom sector sources, internet cable service from Pakistan to Africa has been suspended. Cutting the CMV4 cable has reduced the speed of internet in the country due to lack of one terabyte in internet speed. Internet speeds are likely to be further affected during rush hour.
Telecom sector sources also said that PTCL was trying to transfer internet traffic to other cables. CMV4 internet cable repair work can take several days.
