DAR ES SALAAM: Tanzanian President John Magufuli kicked the bucket on Wednesday matured 61 from a heart condition, his VP said, after over five years of disruptive, tyrant rule covered by his refusal to treat Covid-19 appropriately.
Magufuli, famously nicknamed the “Tractor”, had been absent from general visibility for right around three weeks, fuelling wild gossipy tidbits about his infirmity, with resistance pioneers asserting he had gotten the infection.
“It is with profound lament that I advise you that today we lost our courageous chief, the President of the Republic of Tanzania, John Pombe Magufuli,” said Vice President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
She said Magufuli had kicked the bucket of a “heart condition”, known as ongoing atrial fibrillation, described by an unusual heartbeat, which he had experienced for 10 years, at a clinic in Dar es Salaam.
