Pakistan and England will play each other in the first T20I of the Lahore leg.
LAHORE- Pakistan and England will play each other in the fifth Twenty20 International match of the seven-match series at Gaddafi Stadium on Wednesday. This is the start of the second leg of the series.
The series is now tied at 2-2 after Pakistan won the fourth T20I at the National Stadium, Karachi, in a nail-biting finish.
Local media said that Pakistan is likely to test their “full-strength” team in the Lahore leg, while the English playing XI is not likely to change much.
The media said that vice captain Shadab Khan and fast bowler Naseem Shah could be added to Pakistan’s playing eleven. Backup wicketkeeper Muhammad Haris could also get a chance to play in one of the last games.
On Monday, the two teams arrived in Lahore, where there was a lot of security. They were taken from the airport to a hotel.
All three matches in Lahore have sold out of tickets.
Both teams will try to win the series, but Babar Azam’s team is especially determined to do so because it would help them prepare for the T20 World Cup in October.
