Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin said that the current government has made changes in a number of areas, including housing and agriculture.
In an interview with a private TV show, the Finance Minister said that the administration is focusing on long-term economic growth and the empowerment of young people.
He noted that the Kamyab Jawan Program, the Health Card Scheme, and the Ehsaas Program are all geared towards assisting the disadvantaged and marginalized parts of society.
Shaukat Tarin believes that structural improvements would ultimately help the national economy.
The World Bank, on the other hand, has approved $435 million in financing for three projects in Pakistan that will help low-income families get more access to home loans.
It says that three projects have been approved by a World Bank news release: Pakistan Housing Finance, Punjab Urban Land Systems Enhancement, and the Punjab Affordable Housing Program, which is for low-income housing in Punjab.
These steps would help people who own land in Punjab’s cities get more rights and make it easier to build low-cost homes.
It will help up to 70,000 Pakistani first-time homeowners who qualify for the government’s interest rate discount scheme, Mera Pakistan, Mera Ghar.
